The 3G spectrum auctions continued to scale new mark with bids for both Mumbai and Delhi crossing the Rs.2000 crore mark with four bidders fighting for 3 slots available in each of the two circles.
Mumbai saw bids of Rs.2,315.79 crore and Delhi saw bids of Rs.2,208.59 crore. Both had four bidders indicating an excess demand and thereby reflecting that bids should be competitive on Monday as well.
Karnataka’s bid price was at Rs.1,374.51 crore while Maharashtra’s bid price was at Rs.1,138.74 crore. Andhra Pradesh’s price was at Rs.1,070.84 crore and that of Gujarat at Rs.1,034.09 crore. Tamil Nadu had a bid price of Rs.1,171.75 crore.
A total of 143 rounds have been completed till date since the auctions began on April 09, 2010.
The pan-India price for 3G spectrum reached Rs.12,851 crore or $ 2.82 billion. |
