State-run telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has joined hands with Amazon to offer Amazon Prime Membership worth Rs 999 for free to select postpaid and broadband customers. BSNL customers across the country with Rs 399 postpaid or Rs 745 broadband landline plans can avail one year of free Amazon Prime membership.
Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel already offer free Amazone Prime membership to their postpaid customers in the country.
Gaurav Gandhi, Director and Head, Business, Amazon Prime Video India said “Prime Video has received an overwhelming response from customers across the length and breadth of the country. We are thrilled that our association with BSNL will expand the reach of Prime Video to an even larger base of customers who can now enjoy premium content on a screen of their choice - be it their mobile device or the television in their living room".
The annual Amazon Prime membership can be activated through the BSNL website. Access to Prime Video is available after downloading the Prime Video app on supported devices.
