QSC partners with Axiros for cloud data management platform services
TT Correspondent |  |  26 Nov 2014

Axiros, on Tuesday announced that QSC, a leading provider of information communications and telecommunication services in Germany, has selected Axiros’ Cloud data management platform. Under the terms of the partnership, Axiros is providing QSC an easy cloud-based standardized managed service solution perfectly tailored to their needs that only takes a fraction of the time and investment to implement.

“We needed a management and provisioning solution to support our existing network. The Axiros system turned out to be the ideal solution for reliable remote management of the customer premises equipment for our NGA-Clients. Axiros rose to the challenge, and their history in the TR-069 market, existing Cloud products, and roadmap for future development convinced us that they were the perfect match for our market’s needs,” said Jörg Mügge, director of Plusnet, a subsidiary of QSC and responsible for managing its next generation network.

“Germany is an ideal place to roll out next-generation services. QSC is a prime example of a partner who understands customer needs and is committed to staying ahead of them by putting the necessary technology place now to support a robust network in the future. We are thrilled to be working with QSC and know that with the strength of their network and the field-tested resiliency of our management software, QSC will have a competitive advantage in the market,” said Kurt Peterhans, CEO of Axiros.

Axiros’ standardized AXCESS.ACS offering is perfect for small- and mid-sized service providers, ISPs and telcos that are looking for a provisioning solution but do not have the resources necessary to support a full on-site implementation for device management. Axiros understood that there was a very real market need for these providers to compete, especially with home automation and Internet of Things offerings, and introduced an easy cloud-based standardized managed service solution perfectly tailored to their needs that takes a fraction of the time and investment to implement.
