15 MHz to be available as Defence Forces agree to vacate spectrum

The meeting of the Group of Ministers (GoM) approved a move to facilitate release of 15 MHz of spectrum by the defence forces.

 

10 MHz of spectrum in the 2.1 GHz band will be available which is allotted for 3G services. The spectrum will be made available after formal signing of memorandum of understanding between the ministry of defence and the DoT.
