Apprehending terrorist activity, Govt jams mobile networks in J&K

Mobile services in Jammu and Kashmir went for a toss as the government agencies asked the mobile service providers to jam their network on Tuesday fearing use of communication networks by terrorists to disrupt Republic Day functions in the State.

 

The government as well as the mobile service providers did not officially confirm the issuance of such a notification.
