Uninor, one of India’s fastest growing telecom operators, on Monday announced a major expansion of its operations in the Andhra Pradesh region.
As a part of this expansion, Uninor will deploy an additional 550 network sites across 2700 towns and villages beginning January 2014, in the region, facilitating employment opportunities for many in Andhra Pradesh.
With this new wave of expansion, Uninor will own 3300 network sites spanning across 2700 towns and villages, with 60000 point of sales, 800 RSEs, 260 CREs and about 330 distributors in the Andhra Pradesh circle.
Additionally, Uninor also aims to add 7000 new retail points to reach 60000 in total with a total of 250 retail stores.
To engage better with its customers through fun games, activities and freebies, Uninor has planned a special Extravaganza in mini clusters across the circle, over a period of 3 months. Several on ground activities, are a part of a special Carnival that brings Uninor closer to its customers with their special products like 25 paisa. With this expansion and a unique concept of carnival, the benefits of the Sabse Sasta operator reach many new subscribers in the circle.
With this initiative, Uninor will become the first operator to announce such an on-ground activity in the Andhra Pradesh circle.
