Airtel rolls out Platinum 3G network for its customers in Bengaluru

Bharti Airtel, on Tuesday announced the launch of its Platinum 3G network for customers in Bengaluru. Airtel’s Platinum 3G will offer a superior mobile experience to customers through significantly enhanced indoor coverage, better voice clarity, and faster internet speeds.
 
Airtel Platinum 3G is powered by the dual spectrum band of the efficient 900 MHz along with 2100 Mhz. This service does not require any additional subscription and is part of the network enhancement of Airtel’s existing 3G network.
 
With Airtel 4G and Platinum 3G, customers in the city can now enjoy an unmatched mobile broadband experience. Additionally, Airtel Platinum 3G will help optimize the backend engagement between the network and mobile devices, thus allowing customers to enjoy extended battery life on their mobile devices.

In line with its commitment towards making Karnataka a digitally enabled state, Airtel presently has covered almost all towns with 3G services and 4G services are available for customers in 120 towns in the state.
 
Airtel has recently commenced the implementation of its nationwide network transformation program - ‘Project Leap’. With a planned investment of Rs. 60,000 Crores over the next three years, Airtel’s ‘Project Leap’ is a strategic company initiative aimed at perceptibly improving its network quality and delivering the best customer experience.
