Vodafone will deliver prepaid 4G SIM card for free to new subscribers

Vodafone has rolled out a new offer in which the telco will deliver a new prepaid 4G SIM card for free. This offer is only applicable for new prepaid subscribers and users will have to register themselves and buy a plan of Rs 249 online on the Vodafone website.

The Rs 249 Vodafone recharge plan will offer 1.5GB daily data along with unlimited free local and STD calls along with SMS. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days. Having said that this option to get a 4G SIM card delivered at home is only available for new subscribers who purchase the plan on the official Vodafone website only. However, the offer is applicable for those who port their number to Vodafone as well.

On the website, the new subscriber has to provide personal details and choose between either choosing a new Vodafone number or to port an existing number to Vodafone via MNP. Subscribers will have the option to choose any one new number from a list. Note that subscribers will have to pay first to get the delivery.

Meanwhile, Vodafone has recently announced a new plan for its prepaid users. Dubbed as the Rs 999 plan, it is an all-year plan and offers mobile data along with unlimited calls and messages. Vodafone’s Rs 999 plan comes with 12GB 3G/4G mobile data. This means users will get 1GB data every month. The plan comes bundled with unlimited voice calling data. Users will also get 100 SMS per day, under the new plan. The new Vodafone plan will compete with Airtel’s Rs 998 plan which too has a validity of 365 days.

Vodafone recently announced another long-term plan for its prepaid users. The plan is priced at Rs 1,999 comes with a validity for 365 days. As part of this plan, Vodafone India is offering 1.5GB 4G daily data.
