TDSAT serves notice on STel over Infratel petition
TT Correspondent |  |  05 Mar 2012

The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal on Monday served notice on S Tel over the petition of Infratel (RInfra) seeking recovery of dues from the Chennai based service provider.

Ambani-led firm Reliance Infratel (RInfra) had moved the tribunal to recover dues from telecom operator S Tel. The company had signed a 10-year lease agreement with Infratel to use its infrastructure.

The tribunal has asked S Tel to file a short reply by March 14.

S Tel is one of the telcos who are set to lose license following the Supreme Court order on Feb 2 canceling all the 122 spectrum licences allotted in 2008 during the tenure of the former telecom minister A Raja.
