Ericsson has come up with a new solution branded as ‘AdMarket’ catering to the mobile advertising sector. Ericsson claims that the solution will build a mobile advertising ecosystem and can help advertising buyers secure mobile phone advertising space.
The solution is basically a platform for advertising across multiple mobile inventories, mediums and networks. It is a connected, open advertising marketplace, for use by multiple actors within digital advertising for the purchase of consumer-targeted mobile ad space, says Ericsson.
Christina Bäck, head of Ericsson’s advertising business, says, “Extending our role in mobile advertising by introducing AdMarket is a natural step for us and our customers. With our telecoms expertise, global reach and local presence with operators in 175 countries, we are better equipped than anyone else to bring telecom assets to the mobile advertising industry.”
