ZTE Corporation announced that it has received the 2010 Smart Wireless Award for Services from the CDMA Development Group (CDG) at the industry association’s Smart Wireless Workshop.
This is the inaugural year of the Smart Wireless Awards, organized by CDG with expert reviewers coming from CDG senior members, trade associations, and business media. The awards honor organizations with innovative contributions in service innovation and solution applications utilizing CDMA2000 networks.
“The CDG congratulates ZTE on winning the inaugural Smart Wireless Award for Services,” said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. “M2M is getting a lot of attention in the wireless industry right now, as 3G CDMA adds increased value to innovative mobile services such as ZTE’s Wireless Vehicle Management System on China Telecom’s EV-DO Rev. A network.”
