Huawei Technologies bagged a new FTTH network rollout contract for the Brunei Next Generation Broadband Network (BNBN) project of Telekom Brunei Berhad.
BNBN will cover four major areas in Brunei and will offer subscribers a maximum data transfer rate of 150 Mbps.
Under the agreement inked with Telekom Brunei Berhad, Huawei will deliver an end-to-end turnkey services package that includes active and passive equipment, holistic ODN (Optical Distribution Network) network designs, and construction management. This project will be carried out in four phases and the resulting network will serve over 40,000 subscribers in Brunei after its completion.
