TRAI extends last date for submission of viewpoints over issues related to blocking of IMEI

The regulator TRAI extended the last date for submission of viewpoints and counter views on consultation paper on issues relating to blocking of IMEI for lost /stolen mobile handsets.

The new deadline for submission of viewpoints is now December 15, 2010 and for submitting counter viewpoints is December 22, 2010.
