Indian GSM operators collectively added 17.45 million new subscribers in the month of November.

Aircel added 1.2 million subscribers taking its total subscriber base to 48.74 million. Vodafone Essar added the highest number of new subscribers at 3.12 million just marginally ahead of market leader Bharti airtel’s 3.1 million while BSNL too added 3 million new subscribers.

 Idea Cellular added 2.8 million new subscribers while Uninor added 2.5 million new subscribers. Videocon added 1.4 million new subscribers.
