Tata Docomo announced the launch of new VAS service named as “SPARSH” and aimed at addressing sexual and reproductive health related isuues. The service is certified by FPAI (Family Planning Association of India) which is India’s largest sexual and reproductive Health NGO.

The service is priced at Rs 10 for ten days with browsing charge of 1p/sec also applicable. The service in the initial phase is available in English, Hindi and Marathi soon to be followed by Oriya, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malyalam languages. The service can be accessed by calling 529222.

“Sparsh aims at creating awareness about sex education on the mobile. Majority of Indians are still conservative about openly discussing and clearing doubts about the topic.
