 State-run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced the appointment of A K Garg as the Director of Human Resource.
The post was lying vacant after retirement of Gopal Das on February 28. Das retired as chairman and managing director of the organisation and was simultaneously holding the charge of Director(HR) as well.
Prior to joining as Director (H R), Garg served as the Chief General Manager at Kolkata Telephone. He joined the Department of Telecom
Group A services in 1977.
"After a good old journey of more than three decades in the telecom industry, I am privileged and humbled to take this responsible position and wish to nurture and create great human capital for BSNL," Garg said in a statement.
