The ISO/IEC27001:2005 certification has also become a requirement for telecommunications companies looking to enter some countries. ZTE will now be able to more swiftly and efficiently enter these markets.

“ZTE USA has a commitment to protect the data of its customers by following international standards and best practices,” said ZTE USA CEO Lixin Cheng. “The ISO/IEC27001:2005 certification demonstrates this commitment and highlights our efforts to provide secure and effective systems to ensure our customers’ digital information remains confidential and safe.”
