Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar is believed to have returned the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) draft report on the 2G spectrum scam to the committee chairman. The report had raised several questions on the integrity of UPA government.

 This will not only adversely affect the image of  PAC chairman Murli Manohar Joshi but is expected to lead to the fresh debate between the Congress and the BJP in the coming monsoon session of paliment  It is up to the chairman and the committee now to take a decision on it,” said an official.

The draft report which was sent to the Speaker Meira Kumar amid heated debate between the Congress and the BJP has called in question the ineffectiveness of prime minister''s office and the cabinet secretariat to rein in former telecom minister A Raja.

Now the question is whether Joshi would be able to get it approved by the committee which seems near impossible given its strength in the PAC
