Corporate | | ZTE smartphone wins industry achievement award | | TT Correspondent | | 21 Jun 2011 | | | ZTE on Monday announced that its 3G smartphone R750 won the prestigious "Industry Achievement Award—Innovation in Mobile Consumer Products" from CDMA Development Group (CDG) during the 2011 CDMA World Forum. This is the first time ZTE has been recognized for their consumer products by CDG. ZTE’s award-winning R750, is a smartphone based on the Android platform for middle-to-high-end users. The phone’s high-end hardware combined with its powerful ability to access mobile networks makes the ZTE R750 a favourite among both business and recreational users. The R750’s brand-new 3D user interface, coupled with the phone’s Qualcomm 7627 high-performance processor, has taken visual and 3D gaming experiences to a new level. As a custom-made product for China Telecom’s e-surfing 3G phone, the R750 has adopted a dual-mode /dual-standby and four-channel design. It uses two slots (UIM and SIM) to simultaneously support CDMA EV-DO 3G and GSM networks, allowing for effortless transition between WIFI and WAPI wireless networks. ZTE’s General Manager of CDMA, Mr. Li Jichao, said, "ZTE has been dedicated to developing the best CDMA phones for global customers.
