Micromax launches push-email phone Q80 at Rs 4,999

Mobile handsets manufacturer Micromax today said it has launched its first push-email (ezmail) phone - Micromax Q80 - at Rs 4,999.

The phone is 3G & Wi-Fi enabled and comes with a push- email service that allows the users to receive their mails instantly, Micromax said in a statement.

Q80 is a dual SIM phone which is designed to run both 3G and 2G enabled SIMs.

The phone has a music player and preloaded applications like Opera Mini , Bloomberg UTV , Newshunt, Facebook, and Nimbuzz .

Micromax has launched its push-email service amid government looking into Nokia''s pushmail service facility for security reasons

The communique comes at a time when Blackberry services are under the government's wrath due to security related issue for not providing a solution to intercept its Enterprise mail services.
