Union Communications and Information Technology (IT) Minister Kapil Sibal has said that education is one area where Indian industry and content providers can make a big difference with lot of opportunities opening up. These content providers can meet the demands in E-Educations.
"I don''t think Google will be able to produce content for 200 million children, who go to school”, he said.
He said that telecom industry is witnessing a big upsurge in the country which can be described as a revolution of sorts. He said this while addressing a conference.
He said that the credit for this telecom revolution goes to the policies initiated “in the beginning of this century”. Both telecom industry and the consumers have benefited from this boom, he added.

"I think content providers will do that. So I think whereas Google and Facebook will have areas to operate, there are enormous opportunities for Indian industry and Indian content providers to actually use the network," he added.
He said that over regulated or under regulated environment have to be properly defined to properly understand growth and abuse.
"If it's an over regulated environment, then you (sector) will not get growth. If it is under-regulated environment, you'll get abuse -- abuse by stakeholders. So what is that optimal level of regulation, it is a very difficult thing to do," said Sibal.
