Idea Cellular, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator and the largest operator in UP West & Uttarakhand, has now extended its ‘Gold Standard’ 3G services to cover all major towns in the region.
The company said that ever since the launch, it has been receiving an overwhelming response to its 3G services and has also witnessed an increase in subscribers opting for these services.
Idea''s 3G services are now available across 145 towns in UP West & Uttarakhand. Idea’s focus on growth from semi-urban heartlands, comprising of industrial, agricultural and educational regions seem to be working, as the company has experienced huge growth in data traffic in the largely semi-urban market of UP West and Uttarakhand.
Soon after the launch, Idea introduced a range of attractive offers, including ‘Double Dhamaka’ to enable mobile users in the region to enter the world of 3G. This new Double Dhamaka offers double data benefit on all the 3G recharge vouchers and packs (prepaid and postpaid) to the customers and is valid till 31st December 2011.
Apart from this, Idea is also offering the lowest entry point pack for users to avail 3G services, starting at just Rs. 7. The 3G trial pack comes with a validity of 1 day and offers 20MB of 3G data usage. For other users, Idea has the widest possible range of plans for prepaid and postpaid subscribers, starting from as low as Rs. 7 going up to Rs. 5,000 pack which offers 30GB of free 3G data usage for upto 125 Days.
Idea has also launched a special 3G tariff plan for postpaid subscribers priced at 5 paise/10KB. Additionally, Idea is also offering the lowest Video calling tariff on 3G at just 2 paise/second, for all local and National calls.
Idea is also offering special deals on its 3G Netsetters, for both Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers in the circle.
