Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday said that Union Home Minister P Chidambaram cannot escape the blame in 2G spectrum allocation case as he was party to the decisions taken by the then Telecom Minister A Raja.

"Chidambaram and Raja decided everything together. So, if Raja is culpable, so is Chidambaram," he told reporters in Chennai.

Continuing in the same vein he said that one does not need to take money to attract an offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act.   

He said that he had strong evidence and documents to substantiate his allegations.
