The CBI on Monday conducted raids on the residences and offices of former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran in connection with Aircel-Maxis deal. Aircel is facing probe in 2G spectrum allocation case.

According to reports an FIR was registered against Dayanidhi and his brother Kalanidhi Maran on Sunday. The CBI conducted searches in Chennai, Hyderabad and New Delhi.

The raids were being conducted in connection with the Aircel-Maxis deal, reports said.
