T-Mobile USA on Monday launched new Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Verizon Wireless was the first US carrier to offer the Galaxy Tab 10.1 by Samsung bundled with the faster Long Term Evolution.
T-Mobile, without the Long Term Evolution technology yet, offers the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the HSPA+ speed. T-Mobile’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 features the same 10.1-inch screen, Android 3.2 Honeycomb out of the box, 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, and two cameras.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will arrive “in time for the holidays” at stores and in official website. There’s no official word on price yet, or information regarding the Galaxy Tab 10.1's data plans.
Aside from the tablet, T-Mobile is also scheduled to release its very own Galaxy S II this month, powered by Android Gingerbread, Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM. |
