Finland-based Iqua which had entered the Indian market with a soft launch of its mobile phone accessory products on January, formally launched its products in the country.
The company claims to have sold about 2000 units in Chennai and Bangalore. The price of products range from Rs.1200 to Rs. 7000. The company’s India representative is Pathfinder Software.
The company claims to have in its product portfolio a headset which is solar-powered costing Rs.6000. Another is a car clip, which looks like a file-punch, that can be kept on the dashboard of a car. The driver can talk over his mobile phone, hands-free.
Mr M. Sadique Ahmed, Vice-President – Sales, Pathfinder Software, said that the company would appoint 48 dealers in South India over the next three months to sell Iqua products. |
