Datawind becomes finalist in BIG Idea contest

Datawind on Tuesday said that it has made to the list of finalists in CTIA’s second annual BIG Idea Contest for being the mobile industry’s newest and most innovative concepts focused on improving the way we live, work and play.

 

Almost 10,000 mobile industry professionals voted online to choose the five BIG Idea finalists out of nearly 25 submissions.

 

The five BIG Idea finalists will present their ideas, visions and concepts to a live voting audience on 8th May at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The top three submissions with the most votes will be the winners of the CTIA WIRELESS BIG Idea Contest.

 

Suneet Singh Tuli, CEO of Datawind will make a brief presentation on behalf of Datawind.

 

Commenting on this Suneet Singh Tuli, CEO Datawind said “It is a unique moment for Datawind to be selected as one of the top five contenders of the CTIA Contest. Datawind has a brilliant solution to one of the world's biggest problems today in bridging the digital divide between the developing and developed world.
