Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) has appointed Bill Chang as CEO Group ICT, leading the Group’s enterprise business. His appointment, effective is the result of an extensive global search, both within the Group and externally.
The SingTel Group had announced a new organisational structure in March 2012 which took effect on 1 April 2012. The structure comprises three customer units Group Consumer led by Paul O’Sullivan, Group Digital Life led by Allen Lew and Group ICT led by Chang. The three CEOs report to Group CEO, Ms Chua Sock Koong.
Group ICT will focus its efforts on empowering businesses with the latest technologies and an extensive suite of enterprise-focused products and services.
Chang’s previous position was Managing Director of Business Group, Group ICT. He joined SingTel in 2005 as Executive Vice President, Business Group responsible for extending SingTel’s lead in the enterprise customer segment. Under him, SingTel’s Business Group has enhanced its position as a leader in ICT, managed services and cloud computing. Prior to joining SingTel, he held multiple leadership roles at Cisco Systems (USA) Pte Ltd.
