Nawras, Oman's on Tuesday said that it is partnering with Tata Communications to offer a full suite of international services including the first Global Virtual Private Network (GVPN) in Oman.
The services will offer secure, international digital communications for multinational companies linking Nawras ' domestic network directly to over 200 of the world's main business hubs and data centres via Tata Communications' global network. For the first time in Oman, corporate customers will benefit from multi-point, worldwide reach, it said in a statement.
“By connecting to Tata Communications' expansive global network, including the world's first wholly-owned fibre optic sub-sea network ring around the globe, corporate customers will have immediate access to all of Tata Communications' international carrier partners. With this Oman first, businesses in the region can benefit from the broadest international portfolio of products worldwide such as International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), Ethernet, MPLS, CDN, video conferencing, cloud based computing, Telepresence, IP Transit and data centre connectivity.”
