Vodafone, Research in Motion (RIM) and IMS have announced an inter college competition ACE, enabling students to prepare for National competitive exams such as CAT and CMAT in Pune today. The content for the application is being developed by IMS with the necessary application support from Blackberry.
Students can take the test using any BlackBerry smartphone with a Vodafone connection that will provided to them within their campuses as well as at IMS centers. These phones will be provided by Research in Motion (RIM).
Through ACE students will get the chance to rank themselves against their peers in other colleges and also get a chance to win a total scholarship worth INR 50 lacs. The competitive leg will start in the beginning of August and extend till September 2012. The top 10 scorers of each college move to the city final after having already qualified to a course from IMS valued at 30 thousand per student.
The city final will see 150 of Pune''s brightest students try and outdo each other as they compete on time and accuracy through a test that would on par with that of CAT or CMAT exams. The top 3 will win scholarships in cash worth 1 lakh, 75 thousand and 50 thousand and the following top 10 get BlackBerry smartphones, besides the glory of being the FACE of ACE Pune 2012 and qualify to the national championships. Besides the college with the highest weighted average will be adjudged the best college and will also be felicitated at the the ACE 2012 Awards. |
