LG offers theft insurance for handsets

LG Electronics has announced a mobile theft insurance plan for its customers. According to a release, the company has tied up with United India Insurance Company to offer this benefit at no extra charge.

All LG GSM handsets bought on or after April 1 will be insured against theft for one year from the date of purchase.
