MTS India launches Samsung Galaxy Y Smartphone with unlimited data & voice benefits

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that nationally operates its telecom services under the MTS brand with over 16 million wireless customers on Monday launched Smartphone Galaxy Y from Samsung on MTS’ network for a superior data experience.

 

Priced in the sub Rs 8000 category, Samsung Galaxy Y smartphone is powered with 600 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor & runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The smartphone offers seamless user experience and comes bundled with Unlimited Data & Voice Benefits.

 

According to Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, MTS India, “The Galaxy Y not only offers smarter user experience but also empowers customers to use Unlimited Data and Voice services on our network. This sleek and stylish Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone enables a user to do a lot more with Live TV, social media and access to Android based apps through Google Play.”

Samsung Galaxy Y smartphone with 3.0 TFT touch-display is equipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread for a smarter user experience. The smartphone is powered with 600 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and comes with 1200 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Y facilitates easy access to High Speed Data for LIVE TV and seamless video streaming on the move. Galaxy Y also provides easy access to Google Mail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps. The powerful Voice Search lets the users find information without having to type anything.

 

The launch of Samsung Galaxy Y Smartphone is supported by an integrated communication program; which includes leveraging Out-of-Home (OOH) media, airing of TV commercial, digital media and road shows in key cities across India.
