TT Correspondent |  |  18 Sep 2012

Amid reports that it is that it is reducing 10% of its work force, Huawei Technologies, the leading world's second largest telecom gearmaker, said it has relocated 350 Indian employees to work on international project over the last three to four months, amid speculations.

"Huawei remains confident about India market despite the current business downturn and uncertainty and we are reposing our faith in all our India employees and have been minimising the impact of restructuring by providing global deployment opportunities. Huawei India is the only company among the various multi-national telecom vendor community in India to create two new HR platforms wherein almost 350 Indian employees have been relocated to provide solutions and services to global clients," the company said in a statement.
