GTS Central Europe, a leading telecommunications operator with its own network in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) on Tuesday said that it is providing services to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) under a new five year contract.
The private cloud solution is designed to serve nearly 50 PwC offices in over 25 countries across the CEE region. From engineering through installation and now operation, GTS worked closely with PwC to build a custom solution which meets the highest industry standards.
“We are delighted to offer our services to such a well respected company as PwC. GTS is providing both the primary and secondary data centers and the fiber connectivity between them for a fully redundant environment. Now that the design and installation are complete, we are assisting PwC in the migration to and operation of the private cloud,” explained David Sita, Managing Director of GTS Czech.
“During the tender, we were impressed primarily with the responsible approach taken by GTS in which they always worked through every requirement we had for the service. They successfully managed to understand our needs and responded with flexible and scalable solutions. This new cloud platform will improve application service levels and resiliency, while reducing total cost and complexity,” said Kish Rathor, Regional CIO for PwC.
In addition to the services provided to PwC, GTS has an expansive set of ICT products to address the needs of businesses of all sizes. Recent enhancements to the GTS Virtual Private Server and GTS Virtual Hosting Environment products put more control into the hands of customers. GTS IaaS services use its extensive regional network as a foundation, thus enabling end-to-end solutions backed by performance guarantees for CEE customers. |
