Tata Docomo on Saturday announced the launch of “Legends Forever” service for its CDMA, GSM and VMI customers. This service is launched in collaboration with Sa Re Ga Ma, which will bring 40 plus melody legends alive on phone.
 
“Legends Forever” is a music service, launched in collaboration with Sa Re Ga Ma, which unlike others is presented in a radio show format. The radio episodes will be of 1 hour duration, hosted by well known radio jockeys and in addition to songs they will also feature sound bytes, trivia and hitherto unknown tit bits about the singers.

The service further differentiates itself by bringing artists from across languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali to the listeners/ subscribers.

This service will offer various content elements such as; “Aaj Ka Sitara”, a 45 to 60 minute episode which will have the snippets of the legend of the day. “Legends Library”, oonce a legend is introduced, the next day the episode will move to the Legends Library, from where the users can access the episodes of previous day/weeks. “Saturday Sur Sangam”, a regular feature every Saturday where the episodes will be created basis the genres like Romantic Duets, Rain Songs, Motivational Songs etc and the episode will be created in the same manner as for other days. And “Aap ki Farmaish”, users request taken through Thursday to Wednesday of every week and the requested song will be played on Sunday.
