ZTE has launched the Grand X IN, its first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone with Intel Inside, and the ZTE Blade III, the third handset in the ZTE Blade series with Cosmote, the largest mobile operator in Greece. This is the first time ZTE and Cosmote have partnered on mid to high- end smartphones.
The ZTE Grand X IN has previously been launched in Austria,Hungary and Poland, and it is currently the top-seller at Tele.ring in Austria. The ZTE Blade III has been launched in the Nordic countries and there are plans for the handset to be launched continuously in Eastern Europe.
The Grand X IN is the latest product from the ZTE Grand series and delivers fast and efficient performance via the low-power Intel Atom processor Z2460 with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, and support for HSPA+ 21Mbps network with the Intel® XMM 6260 Platform. The Grand X IN also features the latest communications capabilities including Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Mobile HD link (via micro-USB) short range connectivity. Its wide range of audio-visual features includes Dolby Sound, HD Video Capture and HD Voice. The device has a 4.3-inch, 16 million colour screen, a best-in-class 8MP camera, Blu-ray quality movie playback and long battery life with a 1650 mAh, Li-Ion battery and a 127 x 65 x 9.9mm chassis.
The ZTE Blade III offers extra space to store pictures, music or apps, and provides an incredible video or gaming experience. The Blade III also has an expanded storage memory, an enlarged 4-inch screen and the Android 4.0 operating system.
