Three months after it was launched the much talked about Apple iPhone 5 finally made its entry into Chinese market. iPhone 5 is available in 47 countries, including the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK.
According to media reports, its officially launch was a low-key affair in China with people giving a lukewarm response to the latest iPhone version. During the releaseof the iPhone 4 long queues were seen at Apple's stores in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
There was so much of rush following the launch of the previous version early this year that Apple had to halt its sale because of the supply problems and the chaotic scenes, according to Reuters.
Reports also hint at the cool response from the Chinese customers as they feel that it lacks significant upgrades. The experts however feel that it could still become a hit.
Apple claim that iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, completely redesigned to feature a stunning new 4-inch Retina display; an Apple-designed A6 chip for blazing fast performance; and ultrafast wireless all while delivering even better battery life.
iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new features including: Shared Photo Streams, all-new Maps app, Passbook organization and even more Siri features and languages. |
