Fox Star Studios partners with WeChat in India will promote its latest Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.
Users of WeChat can now connect with Matru on WeChat. Matru is sharing behind the scene images, videos & sound bytes with users of WeChat.
This is a unique concept where Bollywood movie characters, Matru and Bijlee have created their accounts on WeChat to connect with their fans through this mobile app to promote “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola”. Thousands of WeChat users following Matru and Bijlee are accessing footage from the movie. To add further excitement, WeChat is running a contest where users stand a chance to meet the movie stars and also win tickets of the movie Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.
The film is produced by Vishal Bharadwaj along with Fox Star Studios and is all set for its worldwide release on the 11th of January 2013.
