Bharti Infratel on Thursday posted net profit of Rs 254.1 crore registering an increase of 30.7 per cent for Q3. The company said that last fiscal the company reported net profit of Rs 194.4 crore in the same quarter.
Bharti Infratel is India’s leading provider of tower and related infrastructure and it deploys, owns and manages telecom tower communication structures, for various mobile operators.
"Despite relatively low capex deployment by telecom operators last year due to uncertainties in telecom sector, our results reflect the significant incremental gains from increased sharing of our infrastructure," Bharti Infratel Vice Chairman and Managing Director Akhil Gupta said.
He said that with data growing at a fast pace, the company expects increased deployment of new networks by operators in the coming year, he added.
Company’s total Tower base stands at 81,389 and average sharing factor at end of quarter at 1.92 (LY 1.87).
It reported consolidated revenues at Rs. 26 and consolidated EBITDA at Rs 9,8
The Company’s consolidated portfolio of over 80,000 telecom towers, includes over 34,000 of its own towers and the balance from its 42% equity interest in Indus Towers, makes it one of the largest tower infrastructure providers in the country with presence in all 22 telecom circles
