Ultrabooks in India seems to be providing a happy hunting ground to the companies. Dell on Thursday launched its entry-level ultrabooks Inspiron 15z. the device is priced at Rs 41,990. It runs on Windows 8 and powered by 3rd generation Intel Core CPUs and features scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass touchscreen.

Inspiron 15z has a 15.6-inch LED HD display with TrueLife technology with options ofen RAM ranging from 4GB to 8GB. It comes with Hard disk options in the device are 500GB SATA or 256GB solid state drive.

It has optional Nvidia GeForce GT630M 2GB DDR3 graphics and weighs 2.46 kg (touchscreen version) and measures 23mm in thickness. This new ultrabook comes with Waves MaxxAudio 4.0 for sound enhancement and Skullcandy speakers. This laptop also includes a built-in optical drive, Intel Rapid Start Technology and Intel Smart Response Technology.

Last December Lenovo launched the 13-inch and 11-inch models of the IdeaPad Yoga. The IdeaPad Yoga is a multi-mode device that can flip and fold while offering the user versatility by transforming effortlessly from an Ultrabook into a tablet in a singular motion. 

According to Tech 2, the Yoga 13 weighs 1.54 Kg and provides notebook-grade performance to get work done. At the flip of its double hinge, the keyboard flips 360-degrees from beneath the display to transform into a media-friendly tablet fitted with audio-visual features like Dolby Home Theatre. With Windows RT and Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, it can perform office tasks as an Ultrabook in laptop mode.
