Aricent adds End to End VoLTE capabilities to LTE offering

The Aricent group, a global high value technology company with a strong heritage in R&D engineering services and software development, has added end-to-end VoLTE capabilities to its comprehensive LTE offering comprising IMS client Application, eNodeB, EPC, and IMS Servers.

With more than 50 business engagements in the LTE domain worldwide, Aricent is a leading supplier of LTE software solutions to major Telecom equipment manufacturers. Aricent’s LTE software runs on many commercially deployed solutions across the globe.

According to a 2012 report published by ARCchart, the VoLTE market is expected to grow to 74 million users by 2016, reaching USD$2 billion in revenues worldwide. There are various options available for carrying Voice over LTE and it has implications in terms of voice quality; seamless connectivity when moving from LTE to  non LTE networks and vice versa; roaming; and battery life etc. Aricent’s VoLTE solution is highly compatible with leading devices and platforms, and provides high definition voice quality and seamless connectivity.
