HTC which had launched HTC One last month has said that smartphone would make global debut this week. However, there was not mention of its launch in India.

It will be available in UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April”, it said in statement. 

Last month new HTC One was presented with the GSMA award for the best new mobile handset, device or tablet.

The device has  HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound, key new HTC Sense innovations that reinvent the mobile experience and set a new standard for smartphones.

It sports sporting a  4.7”, Full HD (1080p) screen, the new HTC One features the latest Android Jelly Bean operating system and LTE network technology to offer blazingly-fast browsing. It is available in silver and beautiful black

Earlier the shortage of several key components had compelled the company to delay its launch.

"We appreciate our customers' patience and believe that once they have the phone in their hands, they will agree that it has been worth the wait," it said.

The HTC One which is likely to face stiff competition from Galaxy S4 smartphone seems to be company’s last hop to expand its market share.
