While the smartphone-maker has introduced this plan for Rs 129 per GB for all its communication services in these regions, in other circles like Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka and the four metros, people can avail of only Blackberry Messenger (BBM).
Blackberry has launched the monthly plan on Aircel, Vodafone and Idea networks. These services include email, BlackBerry Messenger, instant messaging, social networking, Internet browsing.
The move seems to be influenced by the fact that India is witnessing tremendous demand for smartphones and operators are betting on high-speed Internet services. Data growth in India is one of the highest in the world and in terms of users, India is one of the biggest internet markets globally.
The plan is valid for BlackBerry Curve 9220, BlackBerry Curve 9320, BlackBerry Bold 9990, BlackBerry Bold 9 smartphone models.
