Nokia may soon launch its much awaited Lumia 925 in a metal design in India as the device has showed up on company’s India website. Although the price and the time of its launch have not been mentioned, it is listed as coming soon.
At the time of its global launch earlier this month the company said that Lumia 925 will be priced around 469 EUR before taxes and subsidies. The company had said that country-specific pricing and availability would be announced locally.
Nokia Lumia 925 showcases the latest PureView camera innovation and new features and third party applications. The company said that the device is a new interpretation of its flagship, the Nokia Lumia 920.
It has Operating system Windows Phone 8 and is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon. As far as display is concerned it has 4.5 inch AMOLED WXGA (1280 x 768), 2.25 D sculpted Gorilla 2 Glass, ClearBlack, High Brightness Mode, Sunlight Readability, Super Sensitive Touch for glove and nail usage.
It has PureView 8.7 megapixels main and 1.2 megapixels wide angle front camera. It comes with 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory with 7 GB free SkyDrive cloud storage. It has 2000 mAh battery, Wireless Charging supported via an accessory cover.
Meanwhile, Nokia has cut the price of its Lumia 920 smartphone in India. The device which was priced at Rs 38,199 at the time of its launch in January this year is now available at Rs 32,639.
Powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor alongside 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage,Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display with 1280x768 resolution.
The device comes with 8.7-megapixel camera with PureView technology. The camera also boasts of enhanced Optical Image Stabilisation that claims to stabilise recorded videos, even if the phone is subjected to a lot of jerks, like in a moving vehicle.
