Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the MTS brand on Monday launched MTS Duet, the dual-SIM budget smartphone device that works on both CDMA and GSM technologies.
Priced at Rs 4799 the device comes bundled with voice and data plan for unlimited local calls and data usage for 2 months.
MTS Duet runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz Processor.
Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer MTS India said that company will launch a slew of dual mode smartphones this year, powered by MBlaze Data network for its customers.
Just two weeks back MTS had launched a dual-SIM budget phone which also works on CDMA and GSM technologies for its customers in Kolkata and West Bengal. The device is priced at Rs 1699.
The initiative was aimed at wooing the low-income customers particularly the migrants.
