LG Electronics which launched Optimus G Pro with a price tag of Rs 42,500 for the Indian Market last week is now available for pre-booking. E-commerce portal infibeam is offering the tablet at Rs 39,999.

Betting on the huge demand for big screen size mobile phones LG said that it  pushed the boundaries in terms of bigger screen by introducing this device as the smartphones sales with screens of  5 inch and above is  expected to be 1.5 million units by end of 2013.
 
With 5.5 inch full HD display Optimus G Pro runs on Android Jellybean v4.1.2 operating system and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor.
 
It comes with 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 16 GB. It has battery capacity with 3, 140 mAh. It sports 13 MP rear and 2.1 MP front Full HD camera.
 
The company said it is aiming to capture 10% market share of the smartphone category by end of 2014.
 
Optimus G pro also has features such as upgraded Q Slide, Live Zooming and Quick Memo. Other features in the smartphone include Q Remote, Audio Zoom, Video Wiz, Magic Remote Pad.
 
LG recently launched two Optimus series smartphones-LG Optimus L4 II and Optimus L4 II dual for the Indian market.  The LG Optimus L4 has a price tag of Rs.9,900 while its dual-SIM variant will be priced at Rs. 10, 600 in India.
 
Before that in December last year LG launched LG Optimus L9 smartphone in India. The Optimus L9 is the latest addition in the L Series smartphones from LG. The LG Optimus L9 is priced at Rs. 23000.
