Mydala, India’s largest mobile coupon provider has tied up with Tata DOCOMO, the unified brand of Tata Teleservices Limited to launch unique mCoupon service.
This service will be a combination of push and pull based service where Tata DOCOMO GSM customers will be able to choose and see the deals of specific categories or the most popular deals. This deal platform will be available on Tata DOCOMO’s Dive-In portal (WAP) as ‘DOCOMO Deals’ (m.docomodeals.in) where customers will be charged standard browsing rate of 10 Paisa/10kb.
‘DOCOMO Deals’ is a service where the users can buy any deal of their choice near their location and redeem it within minutes of receiving the SMS. The amount would be deducted from their mobile credit or added to their mobile bill. All the offers displayed to the users will be based on their geo-location and buying pattern. With Tata DOCOMO’s customer base added to the picture, mydala’s overall customer reach is 200 million across India. Bringing internet value, discounts and offers to the mass market is the aim of this partnership.
