According to the study, people have either taken or have considered taking a "vacation" from social networking unable to bear the its burden.
The chief reasons found by a MyLife.com study are irrelevant updates and a lack of time that are a catalyst for taking a break Pinterest Facebook, Twitter or any other social network.
The study reveals that this has become more pronounces because of mushroom growth of social media sites and the email accounts that the users have to handle.
According to the study, 3.1 email addresses are handeled by an adult which was 2.6 a year ago. Overall, 35% of those surveyed spend more than 31 minutes a day visiting social networking sites, and reading and responding to personal emails.
It also reveals that 60% from the anxiety because they fear missing an important event or status update.
More than 2,000 adults participated in the survey and it reveals that 40% of Internet users manage multiple social networking profiles and more than half belong to more social networks or visit their networks more frequently than they did two years ago, a 'BusinessNewsDaily' reports says.
