BlackBerry Q5 smartphone has finally been launched in India at Rs 24,990. The Canadian handset giant earlier launched Z10 and Q10 smartphones running on BB10 platform. The phone is a lower spec version of its newly launched Q10.
The new BlackBerry Q5 smartphone is expected to be available from authorized retailers in India starting 20 July. It will be available in Black, Pure White and Pure Red color models.
The multi-touch smartphone with QWERTY Keyboard will have 3.1 inches (~328 ppi pixel density) with 720 x 720 pixels resolution.
It runs on BlackBerry 10 OS, upgradable to v10.1 and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with Dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU.
It sports 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, auto-focus, LED flash primary camera and has 2 GB RAM.
