According to IDC’s China IT Security Appliance 2013-2017 Forecast and Analysis, 2012H2, China’s IT security appliance market increased by 13.9% to US 830 million in 2012.
In view of all subdivided market segments, Firewall/VPN appliance market remained as the largest market segment in China IT security appliance market, accounting for 34.1% in the second half of 2012. Both Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance market and Security Content Management appliance market performed beyond expectations.
